[Kune - Defect #423] (New) kune load time
by Redmine Comunes 12 Jan '13

12 Jan '13

Issue #423 has been reported by senrof21 -. ---------------------------------------- Defect #423: kune load time http://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/423 * Author: senrof21 - * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: Usability * Target version: * Resolution: * Tags: ---------------------------------------- Loading kune.cc in my browser (Firefox 16.0.2 running in ubuntu 11.04) takes a lot of time (20 sec). I analyzed kune.cc load time with http://loads.in and I have identified the heaviest file: http://kune.cc/ws/8979F3EE0E91487C5ED8DEFE0ACDD438.cache.html that takes around 15 sec. to load. (it is more than 700 KB). This will only happen the first time a user goes to kune.cc if the user have the browser cache activated, and it will happen every time if the user's cache is not active(for instance if user has the "do not remember history" option in the browser's configuration). I believe 20 seconds is more than enough to be worried about kune's load time. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it. Sometime one of this appears in upper menu bar, some could be with space and special chararcter, other not, Bio and About use one also, web page title, personal adresse site... How there are used ? [Kune - Bug #345] (New) User preferences menu should have its own URL
by Redmine Comunes 12 Jan '13

12 Jan '13

Issue #345 has been reported by Samer -. ---------------------------------------- Bug #345: User preferences menu should have its own URL http://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/345 * Author: Samer - * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: Group space * Target version: * Resolution: ---------------------------------------- When the user is in the menu for creating a new group, the URL changes to "#!newgroup". However, when the user opens the user preferences, this doesn't happen, and the URL remains the same. It would be convenient to have its own URL for consistency. Besides, in the bottom of notification emails there is a message: "To ensure this email always reaches your inbox, please add noreply(a)kune.cc to your address book. If you prefer not to receive this emails in the future, please update your preferences in +this link+." The "this link" should point to the user preferences URL. Right now it points to "kune.cc". -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it. Issue #336 has been reported by Samer -. ---------------------------------------- Bug #336: Text from "Home" should be in local language http://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/336 * Author: Samer - * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: * Resolution: ---------------------------------------- Juan: When you have the Firefox in Spanish, Kune.cc opens the locale=es, and we see the Home... what we first see is a text in English (in the Home). This should be translated to the locale of the user. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it. [Kune - Defect #429] (New) Invitations dont check email of logged user (case of sharing computer)
by Redmine Comunes 10 Jan '13

Issue #429 has been reported by Samer -. ---------------------------------------- Defect #429: Invitations dont check email of logged user (case of sharing computer) http://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/429 * Author: Samer - * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: Others * Target version: * Resolution: * Tags: ---------------------------------------- If I receive an invitation to Kune, when clicking in the hash-link, it checks I'm already logged in => It directly offers me friending with the inviter. However, there is no check that the actual email that was invited is the email of the person who is logged in. That is, two persons might be sharing computer, A is in Kune, B is not. C invites B. B clicks on the hash-link => A's sessions opens => Kune offers A to friend C (!). -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it. [Kune - Defect #428] (New) Friending myself through an invitation to my email
by Redmine Comunes 10 Jan '13

10 Jan '13

Issue #428 has been reported by Samer -. ---------------------------------------- Defect #428: Friending myself through an invitation to my email http://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/428 * Author: Samer - * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: User Social Network * Target version: * Resolution: * Tags: ---------------------------------------- * Alice sends an invitation to her own email * Alice receives the email inviting her to Kune.cc * Alice clicks on the link and kune.cc opens * She was already logged in. * She sees a message saying that "Alice" invited her, so she may want to make Alice her friend * Alice accepts * Another message appears, saying that Alice is inviting you to be her friend... * Alice accepts * Alice goes to her buddy list and sees herself as a buddy!! (check http://kune.cc/#!samer, the last friend is "samer") Some needed checks here: * If the person that invited me to Kune is myself, don't offer friending * If somehow I manage to offer friendship to myself, I shouldn't be able to accept (automatically rejected) * If somehow I manage to accept, I shouldn't be listed as a friend in my buddy list... I guess the third check is not needed if we ensure the first two. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
