Welcome to study circle 6 “Appropriating Technology for Societal Change” subtheme: Dynamics of the Digital, of the Nordic Summer University.

The summer session 2016 is organized in collaboration with The Centre For Digital Humanities at The University Of Gothenburg and is dedicated to the question of how digital technology affects the fabric of modern society.

Relevant subjects may include but are not limited to:

Openness and Secrecy

Digital Public Sphere

Theorizations of the Digital

This year, the summer session will be in Orivesi, Finland, July 24-31.

If you want to present a paper in the circle, send an abstract of 600 words to the circle’s coordinators, Sverker Lundin and Johan Söderberg.
