how to display contents of all registers in evil?
Hello Frank and list: do we have a command like :reg in vim to show what each register have? I didn't expect evil has register support but it does have! Jim

I tried :registers it shows: unknown command registers I grepped registers and do see it defined in evil-maps.el so I am confused. I also tried :jumps and :marks I get wrong type argument: commanddp, evil-show-jumps and wrong type argument: commanddp, evil-show-registers this two erros are similar to Wrong type argument: commandp, evil-window-close which I reported in an earlier thread. Thanks, Jim.

Did you recompile evil? (it's *always* a good idea to test with "make clean emacs" if something confuses you)
I also tried :jumps and :marks
I knew this would come next, I just wanted to wait until someone complains ;) Note that currently registers are just displayed using (message ...), which is certainly not a good idea. I'll see if I can fix this in the next days. Frank

I guess not because make clean emacs shows correct results.

:jumps and :marks are commands I don't use often;). I'll try to learn some of the emacs native commands for jumps and marks. Thanks! Jim
