[Evil] doc/docstringdb.json in Git?
I just saw a recent commit in the Git that changes `doc/docstringdb.json` and it seems pretty clear that this file is generated, and the same holds for `doc/build/texinfo/evil.texi`. Could these be removed (and simply (re)generated when the NonGNU ELPA tarball gets built)? Stefan
Hi,
From this list (infrequent) traffic, my assumption is that all Evil communication is now happening on github project page. I'd suggest to create a ticket for this.

Hello Stefan,

Unfortunately no. MELPA does not support custom build steps for security reasons [1], therefore evil.texi is checked into the repository. docstringdb.json is a dependency for it. It probably doesn't need to be checked in though. Consider opening an issue on GitHub for that [2].
