Hi there, I often work with emacs server and to kill a buffer which was initiated by emacs-client I would have to use C-x # in order to avoid messages I have to answer. Wouldn't it be a good idea? to have: (defun vimpulse-kill-current-buffer () "Kill the current buffer." (interactive) (if server-buffer-clients (server-edit) (kill-buffer nil))) Then :bd works fine in any case. -- Manfred

Added in commit 06a6f12 -- refresh your Git repository. :) If you have other suggestions, you can use "git format-patch" to export them as patches (after first having committed them to your local repository). When I apply such a patch, you will be credited in the commit log as the author. -- Vegard
