Thanks! At some point, can the anchor team of this pl send a mail to the PeDAGoG list, with a short description of what is brewing, so interested folks from there can join? Alternatively, and I think preferable since it already exists and has a history, this group merges into that one, so we don't have two parallel lists/ groupings? thanks ashish Ashish Kothari Ashish Kothari Kalpavriksh Apt 5 Shree Datta Krupa 908 Deccan Gymkhana Pune 411004, India Tel: 91-20-25654239 https://ashishkothari.in On 16/12/24 12:25 am, Franco Augusto wrote:

Dear all

I believe we can create a mailing list for this thematic group. That way no one’s email is missed out and we can add people as needed.

@franco, @mugdha can you assist us with this?

Best Vasna

 Thanks Marco!

Since this has happened before with Melanié's name dropping out from some emails and now with me , I am wondering if we can pay attention to the email addresses as we send out minutes/ or meeting dates?

There might be more folks that we have dropped along the way due to some oversight?

Suggest that for every email going out, especially as we plan for the revival, we could have some kind of buddy system where we ensure that each of us keeps a check on atleast 1 or 2 people we know of that are aware about the next meeting and of the minutes? I did that for Melanie and Steven/ Sujit did that for me. Maybe we can extend this circle ? That way the onus need not come on Mughdha (assuming she is doing the coordination for PeDAGoG-please correct me if I am wrong) to ensure streamlining of communication channels.

Will that work?

Warmly, Pallavi

Hello everyone,

At the meeting yesterday we had time to share our learnings/learnings from this cycle that is ending (Solstice - 21 Dec). It was a nice time to connect from the heart.

We also had the opportunity to share on common ideas and longings for this thematic group in the next cycle that soon begins.

One of the themes shared yesterday was related to "other ways of knowing" and about: What are grassroots movements around the world putting into practice?

In this regard, some of the collective actions we discussed were:

- Have a face-to-face meeting and participate in a space focused on this topic (other ways of knowing) in India, in June 2025 (proposed by Madhulika Benerjee)

- Develop together a series of questions and invite weavers (and some endorsers representing networks) to share on these issues.

- Based on interviews, map and produce short videos that can easily be shared. And also, put those short videos together and be able to present it as a short documentary. (Marco / Hajar)

- With that same information / mapping work on a written document (proposes Melanie B.)

- Develop a "toolkit" or "handbook guide" to identify, recover and amplify these "other ways of knowing"

- Luci Attala also shared on the possibility of amplifying processes through the UNESCO MOST-Bridges space (of which she is director)

We are creating an editable document to continue to co-create and shape each of these collective intentions:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FU4ATvuf87SLyWQGfht33lLfbk7D1_ucBbSu4mpU...

Please add any additional information that has not included it.

See you at our next meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Write it down in your calendars. In the meantime, let us continue to make progress on the shared document.

A strong hug,

M.A.

Hello everyone, our meeting of the thematic learning group of the GTA is approaching and we are happy to have the participation of new people and also others who have participated in similar processes. What a joy to meet!

So we feel that the first part of the meeting can focus on welcoming new participants and getting to know each other more.

We can then make a brief update on the "thematic group," review the process and continue to move forward with a view to defining a clear approach for the 2025.

We imagine a relaxed meeting with enough space to share and listen to.

We will start with a catch-up time for new people who is joining the process and then we will have time to work in smaller groups; so we suggest a 90 min. meeting for having enough time to both processes. > > The link for the zoom meeting is:https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87517084569?pwd=akOcthAMmFEVGt92rTFhRRduVCp7qE.1 > > You can also access to the past meeting minute (notes), access to past meetings videos and the next meeting agenda here:https://docs.google.com/document/d/12Y-yyedqv8Y58LPqO1Ru0gxDr0A2nP6tgz9CkEX0... > > Also remember that you can invite friends to the meeting who you think may be interested in joining and collaborate with the process. > > We hope to have your valuable participation. > > Anchor Team > [GTA] Learning Thematic Group >
