Buenos dias para todos, Hace unos dias hice una reinstalacion en mi XWindow (Gentoo Linux, maquina fisica). Desde ese momento recompile Ginga y ahora cuando lo ejecuto no me aparece mas que una pantalla color rosa. Debuggeando un poco el asunto, vi que el mensaje de error que da es el siguiente: (#) DirectFBError [gingacc-systemio DFBDeviceScreen TestConfig error: ]: Not supported! Como ven estoy imprimiendo las "failed flags", eso me da 16, lo cual es la indicacion que lo que esta fallando es cuando setea DLOP_ALPHACHANNEL como options.
Imagino que me esta faltando alguna extension para manejar transparencia en X.. esto es asi?
Mi placa es una nVidia 7200.

para mi tenes problema con el archivo directfbrc crea el archivo "directfbrc", sin el punto y ponelo en el /etc/ y adentro ponele system=x11 mode=720x576 El problema es que no te esta levantando el archivo de configuracion por que tenes esta salida (*) X11/Display: Not using XShm. deberia salir esto (*) X11/Window: Creating 720x 576 RGB16 window... Segun el log las extensiones de Composite estan activadas, o sea, no deberia haber problema al habilitar la transparencia.. pero vaya a saber por que no lo esta soportando.

Probe con varios NCLs. Me imagino que eso del /etc no sera lo que jode. Lo que pasa despues de eso es que el NCL sigue corriendo pero no se ve nada en la ventana, solamente un fondo rosa. Vos tenes tambien la linea del error del DirectFB? En todo caso, si tenes tiempo y podes pasame un NCL tuyo y pruebo con ese. Copia el log que te sale cuando lo ejecutas con --ncl algunArchivo.ncl
A mi me sale un log muy parecido al tuyo cuando ejecuto ginga solo.

Pareceria casi igual, de cualquier manera es bueno ese dato del XShm.. voy a averiguar que es porque no tengo idea.
De cualquier manera por lo que vi en el codigo el tema es que el Ginga no puede setear las opciones del Layer DirectFB, el tema es que no se por que.. tiene que ser algo en mi X, alguna extension o algo, pero no tengo idea cual sera.

Probe con varios NCLs.
Me imagino que eso del /etc no sera lo que jode.
Lo que pasa despues de eso es que el NCL sigue corriendo pero no se ve nada en la ventana, solamente un fondo rosa.
Vos tenes tambien la linea del error del DirectFB?
En todo caso, si tenes tiempo y podes pasame un NCL tuyo y pruebo con ese.
