: Safety Road Kit Enclosed Here is your invited information for roadside support. I had scheduled to arrive around noon on the same day as our previous meeting. If you would prefer, we may shift plans to accommodate extra preparation and reschedule for next week. Plans are flexible and we can adjust according to the group's preference and availability to ensure everyone's comfort. Additionally, if circumstances require, we could coordinate for later in the week or adapt the timing as necessary for all involved. The flexibility remains and we will do our best to be considerate of everyone's needs. You want to be careful with a continues beam, we have a thread here in the last week or 2 where the inspector failed one. The joins ave to be within a certain distance from a post and I think in some places they want them on a posts. So check the rules that apply before doing it. When someone chooses to cook foods differently because of personal preferences, it can be a blend of both habit and taste. There are times people genuinely enjoy a unique preparation and may have never developed the skills or interest to produce another style. <->-<-><->-<-><->-<-><->-<-> Take a friend who insists on having his sausages so crisped they're nearly unrecognizable—no matter how often we encourage more conventional cooking, he sticks to his way, often at the expense of everyone's shared meal. Situations like these show that our culinary habits sometimes run deep, regardless of the dish or company. <->-<-><->-<-><->-<-><->-<-> Having unique tastes isn't inherently negative, but it can make shared meals a tricky dance of compromise, especially when homemade favorites are on the table. The impact extends far beyond simple preference, affecting everyone's dining experience and sometimes leading to silent concessions within the group just so everyone can enjoy their food in their preferred way. My father sticks to his ritual of thoroughly cooking every protein, never allowing the slightest hint of medium doneness. This leads to dry cuts that rarely resemble the chef's intended flavor profile, often followed by disappointment in texture and taste. It's a recurring cycle that seldom changes regardless of how often we eat out or talk about adjustment in recipes—preferences remain, and outcomes follow. <->-<-><->-<-><->-<-><->-<-> When at restaurants, I sometimes gently compare dishes by highlighting how much I appreciate the way they are freshly prepared and perfectly crisped, hoping the contrast encourages reconsideration at home. These small, informal hints rarely lead to changes, but occasionally, awareness grows, and mealtimes slowly shift toward harmony, allowing everyone to enjoy familiar favorites with a new approach. I believe you are correct re that section of the deck. It explains why there were lag bolts in that section where the header would be, but no lag bolts in the small portion adjacent to the header. Where there are no lag bolts, there are nails instead. The entire section of ledger that is holding up the walkway is nailed -- no lag bolts. There are two windows - one actual and the other just framed but sided over - that would have headers in that area as well.
