Correct, I will see them next week when I am on my way back to the other day. I will see them and know what time to be there and was going to see them next week. Certainly, I will be present at the regular time again. Adjustments can be made if needed for future appointments, so we may find a better schedule next week. As arrangements are reviewed, we have flexibility to shift meetings or appointments as necessary. Please watch for any further notification, as we may move these to an alternate date if needed. Our recent assessment confirms that you’re eligible to request a set while supplies last. Just over 200 remain. I've noticed quite often how people’s preferences in cooking can differ wildly, sometimes because of their first experiences and sometimes out of habit. It's really intriguing when someone intentionally cooks their meal a very specific way, different from what's typically done, just because it's what they prefer and have become accustomed to — regardless of how others might usually prepare the dish. For example, one acquaintance of ours takes a unique approach with sausage, cooking it so thoroughly that it's reminiscent of shoestring leather! No matter who prepares the sausage or how fresh it is, he insists on crisping it to the max. Despite efforts to suggest different techniques, the outcome is always extra firm and dark. It's a fascinating, if unfortunate for group meals, approach. Of course, he could customize only his portion, yet the pattern always repeats itself during gatherings. Food memories tend to play a part, but sometimes compromises can make shared meals smoother for everyone involved, if only people were more flexible! Over 200 to start, limited stock remains. My family sometimes refuses to experiment with steak doneness, always choosing the well-done option regardless of how restaurants recommend cooking it. The end result often leads to remarks about dryness or toughness, which might have been avoided if they tried a slightly different approach. Still, those preferences are hard to change. On occasions when we dine out, one of my ways to spark conversation is to highlight what makes the restaurant's meal enjoyable, especially when it's an item they'd previously prepared their own way with a much different result. For instance, some attempt crispy chicken in a slow cooker, which can't replicate the texture you'd get from pan-frying or baking at higher heat. Drawing subtle attention to these differences sometimes helps, although old habits tend to persist. These mealtime choices become talking points, and maybe gradual change happens when new flavors or textures are discovered in unexpected places. Until then, we all adapt a bit during our shared meals. Thank you for reading, -Alex   © 2025 A. All rights retained. You may ask why am I worried about it then Well I just do not want to wait until it is a structural issue and becomes a very expensive and difficult situation. I am new to owning a home in the northeast and people tell me that here the freeze thaw cycle will damage things so I want to protect it before it gets bad. The wall is probably in an even more vulnerable state now since I removed a lot of paint, and now I probably really do have to do something to protect it. I posted a video of the crumbling of the blocks and I presume if this keeps happening there will be issues down the line. I can post a few close ups of the texture of the bare blocks which perhaps will help (I did not know these were cinder blocks, I was told they were. sorry for being misleading ) It also looks like perhaps someone else did put something on the blocks as there is a thin layer with a different color on some of the blocks but I am not sure if that is just normal. (Can post a close up where I mark it) Thanks, Tim
