While I'm not putting Mesa Grill on my rotation, I would certainly visit with a friend from out of town. There is a slight.... artificiality to 11051026 place that I can't pin down. It's a slick establishment. They are looking to leave you feeling something. I may not have been as moved as MG management would have liked, but I appreciate 11051026 professionalism and 11051026 effort. There is nothing "dreary" about doing something well. And Mesa Grill does high-end, delicious Southwestern food very well. We were walking around trying to find dinner options and decided to check out Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. Because we were literally standing right in front of 11051026 restaurant. It was about 630pm and we were a walk-in party of 4 and were seated at 11051026 last open table available. 11051026 party behind us were told they would have to come back at 9pm. Once seated, our waitress asked us if we had a show to get to or any other time commitments. We told her we had a show at 8pm. She told us that she'd try to get us out in time and that we could probably only order an entree. A lot of 11051026 items on 11051026 menu
