One question This is the list of all the participants of the Commons Conference or just for Culture and Communication participants? If it does not exist (a general list), it would be fantastic to create it Best Bernardo 2013/5/24 Samantha Slade <[email protected]>
Hello!
So much gratitude to you Tina for your work and care in capturing our time together for the whole.
For my contribution connecting the Art of hosting and harvesting<http://artofhosting.org>community/movement and the Commoning movement - exploring how they can mutually reinforce each other. This will be done within the group that began today The art of hosting the commons<http://commonsandeconomics.org/groups/group-process-technologies-to-empower-commoning/>- A warm invitation to all to join the group and partake.
And for our notes - are we ready to start sharing them around?
Samantha

I've also made a few edits (e.g. wikisprint, not wiki spring :) Thanks to everyone who contributed. Wolfgang, the titanpad has all the text there, you just have to go with the down cursor to see it after about line 996.
When recording, I feel it's important to capture context, intent and particularities of speech as much as factual data. It's not just about reproducing the atmosphere and mnemonics, but hopefully to project possible connections between different background and speakers. Also, complete recordings avoid selection bias. In that respect, I estimate these minutes to be over 90% complete.
The next (and harder) step would be to process, reflect and develop ideas contained within (or related to) this content. George has already started this with P2Pwikisprint, Samantha talked of evolving the art of hosting into the art of commoning. There's other content to be mined. Any suggestions for methodology for doing this, most welcome.
Tina

Hi! I've made some revisions on the titanpad. There's a problem in that, at least on my computer, it suddenly stops at line 990, at an exchange between George and Dennis, so the parts where Bernardo and I did our presentations yesterday morning are completely missing. When I tried to export it as a word file, it stopped even earlier. Can those of you who have access to the original file maybe divide it into two (or more) files? I suppose the software has trouble dealing with an excessive length of the file.
And, I'm impressed by your note taking, Tina! Really detailed!
Also, I've indicated where it was Helene F wherever I could, so that we can differentiate from Helene B (since I know Helene F much better, I could be positive about what she said much more often). If the two Helenes check through this, I think it will be helpful!
Ciao, Wolfgang

Hi! I managed to import it here: http://titanpad.com/ccc2013. You can go and edit it now.
Amazing work Tina! Thanks a lot for this terrific documentation work!

Bernardo, I'm pretty sure this is only for the CCC group (side event), as I'm not even registered for the main event (ironically communications glitch), but Franco can confirm. On the subject, is it possible for someone to add me to the discussion of designing commons currencies on the economics platform in the site? And yes, we need a general list! Yeah, this is just a mailing list for the CCC activity.

I will create you a user now and you will be able to join yourself.
And yes, we need a general list!
There is a general mailing list of the past conference that is still active, I think that would be good to use it since there are many other commoners there that are not here in Berlin now. You can register here: http://lists.wissensallmende.de/mailman/listinfo/commoning Best, -- Franco Iacomella

Hi all, Franco , I'm part of a few multi agent groups and I think an extensive inclusive list would be a great addition to the information exchange. For now I would like to thank you all, especially Franco for adding me, otherwise I would not have come at all, and to everyone else for their contributions toward the growing pool. I hope my contributions have been of some value and that we can can align our various activities and shared mutualities over this next time with other shared value groups of which we are part. For me, and just so you know, I liase with members of the impact investment community and the social business community internationally, and the activist bunch in Europe. Among these there are complementary instances, individuals who share a similar direction, or whom can hopefully be re-inspired by a cogent commons narrative. In the next weeks, and thanks to Tina (of the magic typistry and ), I will attend a meeting of activists from the PIIGS who will presumably be discussing a communication strategy toward a solidarity establishment among these countries, via social networks/media, in the event of an EU exit. This is not an inevitability of course, and is not seen as such, but in any case, given the nature of the draining of the periphery toward the central, as exemplified by current political and economical practice in the EU at present, it is necessary to consider and prepare for that possibility. The meeting itself will be a chance for the development of the commons narrative in that area, which is assuming, for me at least, the case in point that the commons, its infrastructure, and its regulation, should be exempted from the periodic swing of the political pendulum. What I mean by this is that the people's basic sustenance and infrastructure, being outside of the political, and inherently self-interested, alternation, should have a stable and persistent 'liquid democratic' maintenance outside of the party political periodic practice. One example here is the case of the 'Energy Internet' in Merkel's Germany, her work with Rifkin, and the change to this initiative caused by the votary's selection of the conservatives and their ensuing activity which contradicted a nationally cogent and sensible directive. Anyway, my language is getting convoluted here (I just left Petros at the trainstation after bringing him to Nurnberg en route to Ulm, we stopped for hot whiskeys with my brothers who work in two Irish Pubs here, forgive me :) Well, in any case, I want to thank you all for opening my eyes, for consolidating a new perspective, for realigning my own alignments, and substantiating a more appropriate and discerning context for the excercise of Will toward a wholist and integral genesis. All the very best in the space of life between!!! Eimhin On Saturday, May 25, 2013, Franco Iacomella wrote:
