fiestecita BAH?
by Laura Redal 04 Dec '06

04 Dec '06

Q tengais buen puente! [Bah-smv-general] Suddenly a flock of hundreds of birds rises from the ground beneath the apple trees, swarming in tight formation, wing-tip to wing-tip.
by Monty D. Morin 03 Dec '06

03 Dec '06

Formerly called the Rock Dove, the Rock Pigeon is the quintessential urban bird. Except in winter, when it gathers in loose flocks to move to lower elevations, this shy bird prefers solitude. With names like the Screaming Piha, the Blue-crowned Motmot, and the Black-necked Red-Cotinga, these are not your average birds. ffff *MAKU* IMMENSE COVERAGE *MAKU* Trade Date: Monday, December 4, 2006 Company Name: MAKEUP LIMITED (OTC BB:MAKU.OB) Symbol: MAKU Last Trade: $0.61 MAKU Target: $2 Why get in MAKU? Don't if "profit" is not in your vocabulary. JUST WATCH MAKU TRADE NEXT MONDAY, DECEMBER 4TH! ffff Researchers suggest that the legend goes back into pagan times, when civilizations were keen to have high birthrates. A pint-sized Northern Pygmy-Owl, not much bigger than a pine cone, hoots from a tree-top on a winter morning. You can help by putting out nectar feeders beginning in early March. Calling again, the Scrub-Jay perches boldly upright atop a tall tree, its long tail spiking downward. Except in winter, when it gathers in loose flocks to move to lower elevations, this shy bird prefers solitude. You can find European Starlings in huge flocks from coast to coast, and from Northern Canada deep into Mexico. Along the Columbia River, apples litter the ground, and a few still hang, frozen and thawed again and again. Snow Geese migrate long distances, stopping at traditional stopover and wintering areas. Long-necked and long-legged, these grayish cranes stand three feet tall. Along the Columbia River, apples litter the ground, and a few still hang, frozen and thawed again and again. There is an element of luck in birdwatching, and sometimes that luck is mostly bad. These nests endure rough treatment. And the birds sound different, too! What is the connection between the blood-curdling roar of a Tyrannosaurus rex and the gentle song of a robin? By March, Rufous Hummingbirds are returning to our region, after wintering in Mexico. A light snow falls on her back, as her mate roosts nearby. A pint-sized Northern Pygmy-Owl, not much bigger than a pine cone, hoots from a tree-top on a winter morning. In winter, a foraging flock might include several species of birds: chickadees, kinglets, and even a Downy Woodpecker. According to myth, Thunderbird was so large and flew so high, it carried the rain on its back and created lightning and thunder. Washington's population nests on Wrangel Island in Russia, northwest of the Bering Strait, and winters on the deltas of the Samish, Stillaguamish, and Skagit Rivers. But a cavalry regiment from Wisconsin actually had an eagle that accompanied it during the Civil War. Western Scrub-Jays are on the move. At first glance, a Varied Thrush can appear to be a robin. the largest and tallest bird on the planet. A pint-sized Northern Pygmy-Owl, not much bigger than a pine cone, hoots from a tree-top on a winter morning. The Upper Skagit River in northwest Washington is a favorite sashimi restaurant for hundreds of eagles. The Upper Skagit River in northwest Washington is a favorite sashimi restaurant for hundreds of eagles. Both species will nest only in cavities, such as old woodpecker holes or man-made nestboxes. There is an element of luck in birdwatching, and sometimes that luck is mostly bad. Urban owls escape the harsh weather of northern Canada or the Cascade or Rocky Mountains, spending the winter in somewhat milder climes. Snow Geese migrate long distances, stopping at traditional stopover and wintering areas. There is an element of luck in birdwatching, and sometimes that luck is mostly bad. But many remain, and even the shy and secretive sometimes reveal themselves. So they called this one a Robin, too. A striking vision amid the open habitats it prefers, the Black-billed Magpie is a familiar sight throughout much of the West. Birders across the country count birds in parks or fields or their own back yards, and then report the numbers on-line. A Spotted Owl hoots from deep within a Northwest forest, calling out a four-note sequence distinctive of the species. Washington's population nests on Wrangel Island in Russia, northwest of the Bering Strait, and winters on the deltas of the Samish, Stillaguamish, and Skagit Rivers. Birders across the country count birds in parks or fields or their own back yards, and then report the numbers on-line. Although Common Loons rarely breed in Washington State, large numbers do visit during winter. During winter, Bald Eagles retreat from the territories where they breed, to seek out rivers rich with spawning and spent salmon. But a cavalry regiment from Wisconsin actually had an eagle that accompanied it during the Civil War. Parakeets in the wild? Rambunctious chicks pull sticks out and flap madly, holding on with their feet, before they fledge. Storks and babies have been linked together for centuries. Birders across the country count birds in parks or fields or their own back yards, and then report the numbers on-line. Imagine going into battle with a Bald Eagle as a mascot, screaming high overhead. According to myth, Thunderbird was so large and flew so high, it carried the rain on its back and created lightning and thunder. Storks and babies have been linked together for centuries. [Bah-smv-general] Artículo revista LEADER
by Maite y Pablo 02 Dec '06

02 Dec '06

Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
