E full and just time of her servitude had expired. She never disturbed them again. On account of the grief and confusion incident on Deacon Wales' death, she escaped with very little censure. She never made an attempt to run away again. Indeed she had no wish to, for after Deacon Wales' death, grandma was lonely and wanted her, and she lived, most of the time, with her. And, whether she was in reality, treated any more kindly or not, she was certainly happier. II Deacon Thomas Wales' Will In the Name of God Amen! the Thirteenth Day of September One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty & eight, I, Thomas Wales of Braintree, in the County of Suffolk & Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England, Gent--being in good health of Body and of Sound Disproving mind and Memory, Thanks be given to God--Calling to mind my mortality, Do therefore in my health make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament. And First I Recommend my Soul into the hand of God who gave it--Hoping through grace to obtain Salvation thro' the merits and Mediation of Jesus Christ my only Lord and Dear Redeemer, and my body to be Decently interd, at the Discretion of my Executer, believing at the General Resurection to receive the Same again by the mighty Power of God--And such worldly estate as God in his goodness hath graciously given me after Debts, funeral Expenses &c, are Paid I give & Dispose of the Same as Followeth-- _Imprimis_--I Give to my beloved Wife Sarah a good Sute of mourning apparrel S _______________________________________________ Bah-alcarria mailing list Bah-alcarria(a)lists.ourproject.org https://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bah-alcarria

-- Paco _______________________________________________ Bah-alcarria mailing list Bah-alcarria(a)lists.ourproject.org https://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bah-alcarria

of tempers. We used to have music and reading in the evenings, and very pleasant evenings they were--indeed, we lived much as we should have done in the old country. Altogether, I congratulated myself that I had decided on stopping out. My brother was, however, somewhat anxious about the state of business. "You see, Ned, there is not, I fear, much to be done at present," he said. "I have, therefore, thought of making the trip I spoke to you about. A number of vessels sail from Sydney and other places to collect cargoes of palm-oil and sandal-wood, and some few go in search of pearls. They do not all trade honestly with the natives, and several have suffered in consequence, their crews having been attacked and murdered; but I hope, by trading honestly and by being always on my guard against surprise, to make a profitable venture. I have an especial reason for wishing to sail at once, as the day before your arrival I received information from an old shipmate of mine, Tom Platt, of the existence of a small group of islands, among which pearls of large size are obtained by the natives in unusual abundance. Tom, who has been out in these seas for some years on board whalers and other craft, sailed a few months ago in a small schooner, the _Zebra_, from Sydney. Both master and crew were rough, lawless fellows, and Tom told me that he often wished himself clear of them, but they touched at no place where he could venture to land till they reached the islands I speak of. Nder tales which Western travellers bring back with them from India. The wonderful cases of magical appearance of living creatures and plants, and other objects, out of the clear air are the result of this psychic phenomena. That is to say, the creatures and objects are not really produced--they are but astral appearances resulting from the projection of powerful thought-forms from the mind of the magician or other wonder-worker, of whom India has a plentiful supply. Even the ignorant fakirs (I use the word in its true sense, not in the sense given it by American slang)--even these itinerant showmen of psychic phenomena, are able to produce phenomena of this kind which seems miraculous to those witnessing them. As for the trained occultists of India, I may say that their feats (when they deign to produce them) seem to overturn every theory and principle of materialistic philosophy and science. But in nearly every case the explanation is the same--the projection of a strong and clear thought-form on a large scale. Although I have purposely omitted reference to Hindu psychic phenomena in this book (for the reason given in my Introduction), I find it necessary to quote cases in India in this connection, for the simple reason that there are but few counterparts in the Western world. There are no itinerent wonder-workers of this kind in Western lands, and the trained occultists of the West of course would not consent to perform feats of this kind for the amusement of persons seeking merely sensations. The trained wills of the West are given rather to materializing objectively on the physical plane, creating great railroads, buildings, bridges, etc., from the mental pictures, rather than devoting the same _______________________________________________ Bah-alcarria mailing list Bah-alcarria(a)lists.ourproject.org https://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bah-alcarria

[Bah-alcarria] yogures
by Paco Morote 09 Jan '10

09 Jan '10

by victoria lópez barahona 04 Jan '10

04 Jan '10

T of the purple bit and making it look like a purple rainbow. Soon the shadow covers all the purple light in the east. "'In the west, where the sun is setting, the colors are all different. The whitish light spreads quite a long way up into the blue, but when the sun comes close to the horizon, this turns to yellow, lighter higher up and darker lower down. It is sometimes reddish at the horizon line, and the clouds are turned to pink. "'After the sun has really gone down, the yellow gets darker, changing into orange, sometimes, while the white spot spreads sideways and its upper edge marks off the brighter from the darker bits of the sky. "'In the darker part of the sky, at about quarter way up, a purple glow suddenly appears. It grows bigger quickly, making a circle, the lower edge of which looks as though it slipped behind the yellow strip. This purple spot in the west comes just as the purple rainbow in the east is dying out, and as the western purple spot grows it gets brighter, so that there is a time, after the sun sets, when it seems brighter than it did before.'" "That's queer," interrupted Fred. The printer thought for a moment. "It's right, bedad," he said, "I've noticed it meself." He continued reading: "'Sometimes there are dark blue and greenish stripes running down to the sun and these stripes shoot a long way up into the sky. "'If there are any clouds, they seem to be generally light yellow to begin with, changing to pink and rose, then red and dark orange. _______________________________________________ Bah-alcarria mailing list Bah-alcarria(a)lists.ourproject.org https://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bah-alcarria
