[Bdi4emc-help] Problems of compiling EMC on BDI 4.38

Hello everyone...

I am new to Linux and EMC, and I am trying to compile EMC on a BDI  
4.38 but failed. I have read the Mailing list archives and use the  
3rd option from Paul -- that is use the EMC 1.0-39.

During the process, I first run "sudo apt-get update", and then "./ 
configure" seems to be completed successfully. When I run "make", the  
error message is:
